3 Hours Endurance Special Event

What better way to welcome in the festive season than team up with a buddy and take on the might of Mount Panorama for 3 hours?

​

To close off the year, OZNZ Gaming is arranging a 3 Hour endurance race around Bathurst on Sunday 20th December from 5pm (AEDT).  The grid will be capped at 25 teams, each team consisting of two drivers so grab your place soon!

Entry List and Car Choice Cut Off Date

 

Entry to the event is open until midnight on Thursday 10th December.  At this stage all car choices are also locked in please PM @cArBo with your final car choice before this time.  Unless directed otherwise, you will be driving the car you signed up with.

Event Details

 

We will be running the race with the 2019 car roster and 2019 track/BoP.

​

Race Day Schedule:

​
Server will be live at 5pm AEDT (7pm NZ & 4pm QLD)

Practice: 30 mins - in game time 2pm (x1)
Qualifying: 15 mins - in game time 3pm (x1)
Driver Brief/Warm Up: 15 mins - in game time 4pm (x1)
Race: 3 Hours - in game time 5pm (x1)

Max Stint Time Between Pits: 45mins (Drivers CAN double stint)
Max Driver Time Total: 110 mins

Please note, this event will not have live stewards and will be policed with in game limits, we will however operate standard OZNZ safety car procedures.

We are ALL here to have a bit of fun, please try to respect all other contestants, drive carefully and be courteous.  Please make sure you are familiar with our Rules and Regulations available here. Admins will be on the server to deal with any silliness!
 

Voice and Chat

Race Officials Communications
All drivers will be expected to be on our Discord channel which will have all drivers muted, Race Officials will use this channel for race day communications.

Team Communications
We will utilise TeamSpeak for all Team communications, each team will have their own private channel.  Details coming on the 12th December.

Teams should remain in their own TeamSpeak channels and refrain from visiting other channels.

Please do not use in game text chat during the event.

Practice Servers (IMPORTANT)

Practice Server
We have a practice server live now OZNZ Gaming - 3 HRS OF BATHURST PRACTICE.  This server does not have your car choice locked, if you are testing make sure you select the correct Car/Year.  This will be available through to Friday 11th December.

Access Tests
From Saturday 12th December we will have the following services live for testing.  Please make sure you test these services with your team mate BEFORE FRIDAY 18th DECEMBER.  WE WILL NOT BE RESTARTING THE SERVER ON RACE NIGHT FOR TEAMS THAT HAVE NOT TESTED  THE FOLLOWING SERVICES.

1. Server - OZNZ Gaming - 3hrs of Bathurst (Driver Swap)

• Make sure you can successfully connect to the server and you have the correct car choice, number, names.

• Make sure you can join this server with your team mate and test driver swaps.

• IMPORTANT: The driver listed first in #special-events roster should join the server FIRST and be in the car BEFORE Drive 2 joins.

• While in the pits you can switch driver using the command &SWAP 1 or 2 (Driver number dependent on list above)

2. Connect to the official TeamSpeak server and make sure you have your comms configured correctly for race night.  DETAILS TO FOLLOW
