It is that time of the year again.

While the world is busy responding to the Covid-19 pandemic, the clocks continue to turn.

This coming Sunday the 5th of April Daylight Savings will come to an end for both Australia and New Zealand, turning the clocks back 1 hour.

For our Australian and New Zealand members who live in areas that observe Daylight Savings, there is NO change to race times. Race session times still start at the same time.

For members living in areas that do NOT observe Daylight Savings, race sessions will begin 1 hour LATER than usual.

As always, keep an eye on Discord for updates or messages regarding Session times!

Starting from Wednesday the 1st of April, OZNZ will be starting Mid-Week racing, intended to act as a support category for the Sunday Night Series.

Each Wednesday, we will race on the same Circuit that is scheduled for the upcoming Sunday and will be driving either the Toyota GT86, or the Legends Ford 34 Coupe.

We will not be counting points for the Wednesday night races, preferring to keep it as a casual race night to give us some mid-week racing and a chance to familiarize ourselves with the track for Sunday night.

We will not require drivers to register for the race as we want to encourage people to come in and join in the fun.

There will not be any custom livery submissions available either as the cars as always subject to change.

If you have been thinking about getting into Sim Racing and have Assetto Corsa, then the OZNZ Mid-Week Support Category racing might be just the thing for you! To join in the race, you just need to join us on Discord and be able to hear voice chat to get the server password.

Anyone is welcome to join us!

And we've already hit a snag.

The Aussie Touring Car Master series is due to start this weekend with Round 1 at Oran Park.

Unfortunately, over the course of the week various members running on the Practice Server have found issues with the Oran park Mod, meaning that we are forced to move venue.

Round 1 on Sunday the 24th of November will now be held at Phillip Island.

An updated download link for the Phillip Island track is now on the series overview page and the Practice server is being updated.

The rest of the series is scheduled to run at tried and tested tracks that we have used in OZNZ series multiple times in the past.

This means that the races at Symmons Plains, Eastern Creek, Pukekohe and Bathurst remain unaffected!

See you on track for some Rumbling, Roaring Classic V8 Fun!
